Kickin' it With Kava was started in 2018. The first kava bar in Missouri! It was founded by Kava Dan, as everyone called him. He found kava as a good source to take off the edge. How many people find kava, he was on the internet and researched alternatives. Kava Dan was a business man and saw how popular kava bars were in Florida. Since the popularity in Florida, kava bars have been spreading around the USA.

He saw the type of community that could be brought to Missouri. People alike, all having a good time, connecting, telling stories, making new friends, its the most important aspect of kava. Our products have helped people tremendously. Creating an outlet without harm. A buzz without the downsides.

Over the years we have grown and spread. Always evolving. In 2024, we sadly lost Kava Dan. Unexpectedly at just 48 years old. This bar was his dream, it was his life's purpose. To bring such a special unique space that is basically like a second home for many. Since his passing, his daughter Savannah took over. She had worked behind the bar for many years, and knew she couldn't see the kava bar pass away also. It was too important to too many people and too important to her. 8 years strong and many more to come!!
